Thoughts and prayers to all at GMS and BBC Religion
Anyone listening to GMS yesterday morning will have heard Aled announce the very sad news that one of the show's producers Rosemary Foxcroft passed away on Friday from cancer. Together with Canon Ann Easter, Aled gave a wonderful tribute to Rosemary and there were some beautiful words from Rabbi Pete Tobias at the end of the show.
I just wanted to add my condolences to Aled, the whole GMS and BBC Religion teams and to all those who knew her. She sounds as though she was a fantastic person and a great producer so I'm quite sure that her memory will live on for a long time to come.

I too listened the show and was deeply moved by Aled's heartfelt tribute to the late BBC producer. My condolences as well for everyone affected.

My deepest sympathies to Aled and all at GMS and Rosemary's family and friends. What a shock to learn of her tragic passing. I'm yet to catch up on GMS from last Sunday - a rare absence on my part from tuning in live, due to a family event.

Rosemary was clearly a very special lady who was much loved and appreciated. Aled’s and all of the tributes on the show were deeply moving and my thoughts and prayers also are with all those who are mourning her passing.
