Aled was presenting GMS last Sunday, (22nd January) when just after the 7am news bulletin, the left earpiece of his headphones just snapped off and fell into his hand!

Surprised but nonetheless amused, Aled handled the situation brilliantly and with great hilarity as he shared his dilemma with newsreader, Ricky Salmon.

Ricky, bless him, came to the rescue with the offer of a spare pair of headphones – albeit pink ones!  Aled graciously accepted the offer and gratefully wore them, despite their delicate pastel hue!
